FREE Classifieds from BahamaIslandsInfo.com is a great place to buy and sell items and services and to list and look for employment. This service is focused on items, service and opportunities in the Bahamas. Please be sure that you only list items that are available in the Bahamas.

Here are some important rules and things to keep in mind:

• All registered members of BahamaIslandsInfo.com may post advertisements for FREE. Not a registered user? Click here to sign up today!
• Don't list an item if you are not immediately ready to sell it. When you post it, you are committing to selling it.
• Make every effort to properly select the right category for your item, service or opportunity. The better you categorise something, the easier it will be for someone to FIND it! If it truly doesn't fit into any of the available categories (are you SURE?) then put it in the Miscellaneous category.
• Be sure to note where the item is geographically located. If someone lives on another island they need to know what it will take to get it to them. Note that this service is primarily designed for those actually living in the Bahamas. If you live elsewhere it is up to you to specify delivery options and arrange for any special costs involved.
• When you find an item you want to buy (or,when you find someone to purchase from you), it is up to the two of you to work out delivery options and handling costs.
• Take the time to get at least one GREAT photo (up to two images can be included with your listing) of the item. Make sure that the photo you post is a photo of the ACTUAL item, not a stock photo. Note that each image file should be less than 250KB in size.
• List ALL of the items included -- be specific.
• All ads must be approved by the Administrator before they will appear. Please allow at least one day for approval, although most approvals are done within an hour or two after posting.
• The following types of advertisements will not be approved:
  • Pharmaceuticals that are not for sale by a licensed Bahamian company within the Bahamas
  • Advertisements for animals of any kind that are not from a legitimate animal rescue organisation, humane society licensed retail company within the Bahamas
• Note that we continue to reserve the right to reject or remove any advertisement that we deem inappropriate, illegitimate or suspect

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT ANIMAL-RELATED ADS: Persons interested in buying or adopting dogs should be mindful of health concerns. Insist on complete veterinary records. Do your home work and be an informed prospective pet owner.  Anyone advertising pets for sale or adoption should provide written health guarantees and a contract, and should also require the pet(s) be spayed or neutered. All advertisements from sources that appear to not be from legitimate sources will be rejected.
