WestJet launches non-stop service between Toronto and Grand Bahama [VIDEO] PDF Print E-mail

On Tuesday, November 3, 2009, WestJet, Canada's low-cost international airline, commenced service between Toronto, ON and Freeport, Grand Bahama.

The airline currently operates routes between Calgary, Alberta and Toronto into Nassau, but this is their first time flying regular flights into Grand Bahama.

In this video report, Grand Bahama TV (http://www.grandbahamatv.com) reports on the airlines inaugural flight and talks with government and tourism officials, as well as VP of Communications at WestJet Richard Bartrem, about the importance of the event to the Grand Bahama Economy.
