As a storm front moved through the northern Bahamas on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, dramatic storm cloud formations hovered over Grand Bahama island.

The Bahamas Meterological Department issued several warnings on Tuesday afternoon, cautioning residents of Grand Bahama to stay indoors to avoid the anticipated weather system.

It was just one year and six days ago that Grand Bahama was struck by several tornadoes that killed three people.

No tornadoes or injuries were reported as a result of the fast-moving storm that passed over Grand Bahama on Tuesday.
